Household Documents is optional. If you turn it on, encryption is always active for document details and photos.

What is protected
Household and vehicle record details, including attached document photos, are end-to-end encrypted for approved household phones. Titan Arch and its storage providers receive encrypted copies and limited transfer information, but do not receive the document keys or readable document content.
Who can access shared records
Approved household phones can access records managed by the household. Only invite people you trust and only add information you are comfortable sharing with active household members.
Encryption protects the transfer and storage of the records. It does not decide whether a household member should have been trusted with them.
A record can be managed by the household or assigned to one primary member. Household-managed records can be opened and changed by approved members. An assigned record has a separate key issued only to the named member's approved phones. Other household members cannot decrypt its current synced copy.
Removing a phone or household member
Removing a phone blocks future document transfer to that phone and requires the remaining approved phones to rotate the household document key. This cannot erase information that was already viewed, downloaded, photographed, copied or saved while access was authorised.
Before leaving, a primary member must use an authorised phone to leave assigned records with the household or transfer them to another active member. A departing billing owner must also choose an active billing successor. Historical attribution and ownership assignment audit records remain.
Relationship and ownership disputes
Konnie does not determine legal ownership of household documents or mediate disputes between household members. Users are responsible for reviewing access when circumstances change.
Titan Arch remains responsible for operating and securing the service in line with its legal obligations.
Recovery and essential originals
A remaining approved phone can help authorise a replacement phone. If every approved phone and its secure keys is lost, encrypted records may be unrecoverable because Titan Arch has no master document key.
Keep an original or another secure copy of every official or essential document.
Information not to store
Do not use Household Documents for passwords, PINs, security answers, cryptocurrency recovery phrases or account recovery codes. Konnie should not be treated as a password manager, legal document repository or replacement for official records.
Removal, privacy and support
Archiving a record hides it from the normal Household Documents view but keeps its encrypted details. Removing an attachment requests deletion of its encrypted household copy from active service storage. Copies already downloaded to approved phones cannot be recalled. Backup, legal, security and operational retention may still apply as explained in the main Konnie privacy policy.
